Dorian Dumont plays Aphex Twin Belgium
33 year-old Dorian Dumont is from Montpellier, France, where he studied to become a classical pianist. One day he decided to give in to his deepening love for improvisation and jazz, and moved to Bruxelles to learn all about jazz. ‘APHEXionS’ is his autonomous work, wherein jazz and minimalism reign and wherein Dumont, of course, pays tribute to the British master Aphex Twin.
NLDertiger Dorian Dumont is geboren in het Franse Montpellier, waar hij studeerde als klassiek pianist. Op een dag gaf hij toe aan zijn voorliefde voor improvisatie en jazz en trok naar Brussel om alles over jazz te leren. ‘APHEXionS’ is zijn autonome werk, waarin jazz en minimalisme hoogtijvieren en waarin Dumont uiteraard een ode brengt aan de Britse maestro Aphex Twin.
