Maika Makovski Spain
Maika Makovski (1983) is a Spanish songwriter, singer, guitarist and pianist of Macedonian and Andalucian descent. She started writing songs at 12 and performing live at 14. Between 2005 and 2007, Makovski commuted between New York and Barcelona, touring extensively with artists like The Dubliners and the Jayhawks. She’s just released her 9th album, titled 'MKMK’. Makovski is a trained artist and makes use of her paintings and photography as the artwork for her releases.
NLMaika Makovski (1983) is een Spaanse songwriter, zangeres, gitarist en pianist van Macedonische en Andalusische afkomst. Ze begon songs te schrijven op haar 12e en live op te treden toen ze 14 was. Tussen 2005 en 2007 reisde ze op en neer tussen New York en Barcelona voor intensieve tournees met artiesten als The Dubliners en the Jayhawks. Ze heeft net haar 9e album ‘MKMK’ uitgebracht. Makovski is een geschoold artiest die haar schilderijen en fotografie inzet als artwork voor haar releases.
