Memes Great Britain
MEMES is a duo that formed in Glasgow in Spring 2019. Debut single ‘Blah Blah Blah’ earned the band a Steve Lamacq live session on BBC 6 Music and regular radio airplay. 2019 landed notable early gigs in London leading to Fierce Panda Records releasing another single and debut EP ‘MEMES’ in 2020. In 2021 the duo delivered more punky ‘laptop rock’ with the Darwin Deez produced single ‘Heavy Night’.
NLMEMES ontstond in Glasgow in de lente van 2019. Debuutsingle ‘Blah Blah Blah’ bracht de band meteen een livesessie op BBC 6 Music en regelmatige radioairplay. Hetzelfde jaar speelden ze een goed aantal gigs in Londen, waarna Fierce Panda Records instapte om nog een single te releasen, plus in 2020 debuut-EP ‘MEMES’. In 2021 levert het duo meer punky ‘laptop rock’ op de door Darwin Deez geproduceerde single ‘Heavy Night’.
