Charts Update: Follow the Charts, Know the Nominees

The nominees for the Music Moves Europe Awards 2022 were announced on Monday evening at Linecheck Music Meeting & Festival in Milan. The fifteen nominees are; Alina Pash (Ukraine), Anna (Italy), Balkan Taksim (Romania), Blanks (The Netherlands), Denise Chaila (Ireland), Дeva (Hungary), DORA (Spain), Francis of Delirium (Luxembourg), Friedberg (Austria), Jada (Denmark), Ladaniva (Armenia), Meskerem Mees (Belgium), Mezerg (France), Nenny (Portugal), and Zoe Wees (Germany).

Of these fifteen nominees, 9 have charted in the Music Moves Europe Charts Top 100. ANNA, Balkan Taksim, Blanks, Denise Chaila, Friedberg, Jada, Meskerem Mees, Nenny, and Zoe Wees all had tracks passing the chart at one point in the recent years. Meskerem Mees has had the most tracks on the chart as six tracks from the Belgian singer-songwriter have passed the chart. Yet, when only looking at this week’s chart, Zoe Wees has the most tracks in the charts of all the nominees. With four tracks all within the upper part of the chart, the German pop singer is one of the most popular border-crossing artists of the moment!
