Almost half of the entries in this week’s Music Moves Europe Charts Top 100 are Christmas themed songs. The highest newcomer of the week is Lathum’s Christmas song debut ‘Krampus’. The uplifting track was inspired by the Alpine folklore figure Krampus. Five of the other Christmas themed entries are from the hands of blondette. The French pianist released an instrumental album full of renditions of Christmas classics back in October. These tracks are performing extremely well in Austria, Switzerland, Germany and France now.
Once again, Meskerem Mees scores big in the ESNS Chart. Steadily keeping 5 tracks in the chart seems to be the goal for the Belgian artist. Three tracks of the singer-songwriters debut album ‘Julius’ enter the chart this week. ‘Parking Lot’, ‘Song For Lewis’, and ‘A Little More About Me’ all enter this week’s chart thanks to plays from France.
