Marjolein Kooijman is an independent promoter, creative producer and consultant.
Being a musician herself she advocates good governance, fair practice, talent development and sustainability in the music industry.
Currently Marjolein is working as a promoter at GÂRDEN, a new platform for artist empowerment that presents music in innovative ways, and artist coach at the Fontys Rockacademy and Conservatory Haarlem.
Recently she started consulting the National Podiumplan in how to take concrete action towards Fair Pay for performing artists in the field of popmusic.
Marjolein Kooijman started her career touring internationally with the successful band The Gathering and worked at several venues and festivals in The Netherlands (ao Popronde, Muziekgebouw Eindhoven, Groene Engel, Incubate, Naked Song Festival, Filmfestival Go Short). Olaine Sunrise is her latest music project.

Mariska Berrevoets Festival Grasnapolsky
Mariska is directeur van winterfestival Grasnapolsky, dat altijd plaatsvindt op een bijzondere, onontdekte locatie in Nederland. Na vijf jaar Radio Kootwijk vindt het sinds 2019 plaats in voormalig strokartonfabriek De Toekomst in Oost-Groningen, waar zich het allerlaatste festival vóór corona afspeelde. Grasnapolsky presenteert de nieuwste muzikale ontdekkingen, zo ontdekte je er als een van de eersten acts als Tamino, Bazart, Mario Batkovic, S10, Altin Gün, Froukje en Zwangere Guy. Het festival vertelt het verhaal van een onontdekte locatie middels kunst, expedities en randprogramma. ‘Detailverliefd’ staat op haar voorhoofd geschreven en dat voel je als je op het festival rondloopt. Ondertussen zet Mariska zich luidkeels in voor de lobby van de cultuursector in corona tijden, waarbij ze op twitter en in nieuwsprogramma’s haarfijn weet uit te leggen hoe ingewikkeld het leven these days is als festival als het gaat om steunpakketten en garantiefonds.
