Choose your favourite song and you might be responsible for the music in a new advertising campaign. At ESNS 2019 we hosted our second sync-themed songwriters camp, where twenty-four immensely talented writers, drawn from acts performing at Eurosonic, were brought together for a two day writers camp in the Artist Village. During those 48 hours the group of musicians wrote new compositions for several campaigns, and, following last year’s camp which had a notable success with a placement in an Etos campaign, we're looking to spot the best song written at this year's camp. In this panel a team of specialists, together with you the audience, will analyse and discuss all the tracks written during the camp during a panel session. The expert panelists will also be shedding light on original compositions in advertisement, tips on how to get involved in the sync industry, music and branding, the emerging opportunities online and the importance of music agencies.

Award winning music stylist Jesper Gadeberg is based in Copenhagen. He is regarded one of the leading independent creative music supervisors in advertising, placing music in commercial’s for clients and brands around the world including brands like Heineken, Mercedes and Porsche. His work includes campaigns for directors such as Michel Gondry – TRAKTOR & Martin De Thurah. He was the creative musical mind behind one of the 3 most awarded International commercials in 2013/2014 for Jack & Jones ‘Making The Cut’, and for the Magnum ‘Proudly Seeking Pleasure’ campaign for which he received Gold at Epica 2015 for ‘best use of music’. At the Ciclope Advertising Festival 2017 held in Berlin Gadeberg won Bronze for best music supervisor in the ‘long format’ category. nnes Lions, Gadeberg is often invited as a speaker for music festivals around the world on how to get your music placed in advertising.
Dolf Bekker Sizzer (NL)
Music Supervisor and Artist Manager based in Amsterdam after living, studying and working in London for several years. I started out as a musician, I've always remained highly passionate about music, how it works with moving images and how one can express music in a creative and credible way whilst also being commercially viable. What 'gets me out of bed in the morning' is that I try to inspire and be inspired by the work and people around me.

Alex Smith Hunkemöller (NL)
Alex is an experienced Creative Director and Marketing professional skilled in Trend Analysis, Visual Graphics, Advertising, Retail, and Conceptional Pitching. Freelanced for years as Art Director for agencies and retailers. His deep love of graphic design and advertising communication helped him work his way up within the advertising industry and gain extensive knowledge in developing visual identities for brands. Since 2014, Alex has been leading the creative process at Hunkemöller International, contributing to the succes of transforming it from a retailer to a much loved lingerie brand.
Mark Gordon Score Draw Score (GB)
Mark Gordon runs Score Draw Music; a multi-award winning composition company working in film, television, advertising and animation. The last 12 months have seen the company win the Royal Television Society award for best music for their work with Dolly Parton on the pre-school Nickeodean Jr series ‘Lily’s Driftwood Bay’. The company also contributed a co-write to the 2018 Oscar-winning film ‘The Shape Of Water’, and more recently has had music used in shows including Netflix's 'The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina'. Alongside this the company’s current slate of work includes music and songs for an 80-part series for PBS America, the music for a 52-part series for Disney, a recent commission for a Playmobil animated series, feature documentary score work for BBC and Channel 4, and ongoing music for a range of global brands including a longstanding partnership with Adidas for whom the company supply bespoke music. Mark has also programmed and spoken on many music and image panels and discussions- including at SXSW, Primavera Pro, Paris Sync Summit and The Great Escape.
