Lex Kruijver Respons, Willem Westermann VVEM, Peter van den Bunder Kunstenbond
Lex Kruijver ResponsLex Kruijver is co-founder of Respons and its current CEO. Kruijver started monitoring the event industry and established Respons, now the leading expert company in the field of public events in The Netherlands. Kruijver also established consultancy agency DNA in 2005 (events & city marketing) which was integrated into Respons advisory services in 2018. In 2008 Kruijver set up the National Conference for City Marketing and the National City Marketing Awards. The National Event Conference, established in 2014, remains in the portfolio of Respons. The platform also hosts the National Event Awards, which was set up to contribute to the further professionalization of the events industry. Kruijver is hired by event organisers, cities and regions on a regular basis to advice to advise them on events on various levels, ie strategy, finance and organisation.
Willem Westermann VVEMIn these busy days Willem is fully involved in the Dutch event industry and the way we work towards solutions, representing the VVEM and the Alliantie van Evenementenbouwers in discussions with the government. In the VVEM Knowledge & Development Centre we help both event industry collegues and local and national government.
Peter van den Bunder KunstenbondPolicy director self employed for the ‘Kunstenbond’, the dutch union for professionals working in the creative industry. Currently also partner in the COVID-19 Taskforce Cultural and Creative sector.
Heko Scheltema VVEMHeko Scheltema works as a consultant at De Regelaar. In this capacity, he provides advice and support to organisers and (local) government, particularly in the related fields of safety and permits. Specific tasks involve writing integrated event safety plans, assisting organisers in their permit applications and acting as event safety officer during various events in the Netherlands. De Regelaar prides itself on being able to combine (legal)theory and the necessities realities of practice.
