Pollstar will lead a discussion and present its exclusive European and global touring box office and ticket sales data from the 2018 Year End Special issue. Panelists will be looking at the 2018 trends in the international touring, venue and the live entertainment industry. The panel will focus on leading European touring acts from the Top Worldwide Tours playing globally, the ticket sales, box office grosses, average ticket price, booking agent etc., plus look at the leading European venues from Stadiums to clubs. Pollstar will also pull data from www.Pollstar.com on the focus country this year. The panelists will debate current global touring issues, building and developing smaller acts, plus importing international artists and exporting domestic artists to the global market.

    Cindy Castillo Mad Cool Festival (ES)

    Manager and booker for the past 20 years, runs her own management agency and books one of the biggest festivals in Spain, namely Mad Cool Festival, which has become a "must attend" event in Europe thanks to artists such as Pearl Jam, Arctic Monkeys, Depeche Mode, Nine Inch Nails, QOTSA, Tame Impala, The Cure, The National, and The 1975 as well as long list of outstanding acts.

  • Gideon Karting

    Gideon Karting Mojo Concerts, Orko (NL)

    After Art School and booking shows at Rotterdam's Rotown venue, Gideon started promoting acts at Mojo Concerts. Nowadays he's working with acts like Lady Gaga, Royal Blood, Adele, Robyn, Tame Impala, The Script, Mumford & Sons, Bruno Mars, Triggerfinger, Imagine Dragons, Katy Perry and many others in The Netherlands. Next to (co-)programming Pinkpop and North Sea Jazz, he's also the on of the founders of ORKO, a team developing more efficient ways to promote and book shows.
