International Music Managers Forum discussion groups: Eurosonic attendees can join small group meetings for face-to-face discussions with key industry experts working with the likes of 4AD, Glastonbury Festival, Within Temptation, massive YouTube channels, Global drinks brands, club and arena promoters, global publishing companies, and of course some experienced artist managers.

The objective of the session is to engage artists, self-managed artists, managers and professionals in a networking environment. The music industry is always evolving, we are always learning, this event is ideal for anyone looking to develop their knowledge. Across two hours participants will meet 8 ""experts"" who will share their experiences across 4 topics: Brand, Songs, Live, Deals, and reflect through tips and insights on what they wish someone had told them earlier in their career.

    Martijn Swier Endless Music (NL)

    Martijn Swier is owner of Endless Music, based in Amsterdam. The company focuses on artist management, consultancy and music publishing. Its roster includes bands such as Within Temptation and producers such as Daniel Gibson (SE/NL), Daniel Barkman (SE) and Mathijs Tieken (NL). Martijn Swier is also board member of the Dutch MMF and has worked with other successful artists such as Caro Emerald, Sidney Samson and Brennan Heart.

    Remko de Jong Moon Jelly (NL)

    Founder and CSO Remko is an advertising veteran who worked for many (inter)national ad agencies and brands in Europe, Asia and the US. Specialized in branded entertainment, he knows the drill, especially after touring the globe as a marketing director for the likes of Nicky Romero and Protocol Recordings in the past few years. Alongside having way too many frequent flyer miles, he knows a thing or two about great dance music too.

  • Shirin Saffari

    Shirin Saffari Saffari Management

    During her studies, Shirin Saffari got interested in events and the house scene. What started as a hobby more than 15 years ago has turned into a serious company. She planned and managed major dance events for up to 5000 attendees, coordinated production teams, created concepts, found venues for different events and attained sponsors and booked food vendors, music bands and DJs. Developing highly effective marketing and PR campaigns for the events worked above expectations. And achieved exceptional results with creative themes for each campaign. In 2013 she started a complete new challenge with Saffari Management & Bookings, a young dynamic management and bookings company that mainly deals with strategic career planning for talent across the globe. Offering a wide variety of services to artists in a 360º set up. She signed her first artist Leroy Styles, and she also worked with Kenneth G for management and Eva Simons for management and worldwide bookings. Artists signed at this moment are Leroy Styles, Freddy Moreira and Zawdi MC for whom she’s responsible for management and worldwide bookings for all three.

    Susan Zwijnenberg is currently working as a senior tax consultant at Grey Men, an Amsterdam based full service tax and financial consultancy for the entertainment & media sector. In her position at Grey Men she performs advisory and compliance work, as well as providing financial management of various artists. Within tax consultancy she focuses mainly on internal reorganisations of company structures, consultancy on setting up legal structures and companies.

  • Aram Walstra

    Aram is an experienced senior management level decision maker, communicator and creative problem solver, with a solid track record in client relationship management in the music industry; initiating, managing and delivering new business development programs, complex deal negotiations and B2B sales, marketing & promotional campaigns including digital licensing, artist/brand endorsements and IP monetisation.

    With more than 20 years of industry experience from vinyl production in the days of Sony Music International, artist marketing and promotion for Sony Music Entertainment a.o. to the complex and creative world of music publishing; copyrights and royalties, working with prolific singer/songwriters from around the world including the likes of Gibb Brothers, Quiz & Larossi, Jorgen Elofsson, Anders Bagge, Sir Andrew Lord Webber, Ringo Starr, Iron Maiden, Harvey Mason Jr (Underdogs), Fred and Rodney Jerkins and Linda Perry at BMG Music Publishing International, Universal in London and now as General Manager at Holland’s most active and leading independent publisher Strengholt Music Group.
