A presentation of BBC Sounds, the new platform replacing the BBC iPlayer Radio. BBC Sounds offers users the possibility to personalise their listening, discover programmes recommended for them and catch up with the latest podcasts.

    Ben Chapman is the Head of Digital for BBC Radio & Music and the Editorial Head for BBC Sounds, the BBC's new digital audio service. He has 19 years experience in broadcasting and digital media. Currently, he is the editorial lead for BBC Sounds, the replacement to the iPlayer Radio product, and the organisation's most ambitious digital launch since BBC iPlayer. BBC Sounds is centered around audio: Music, Radio and Podcasts. Ben is also responsible for the digital direction of the BBC's national radio stations and its BBC Music portfolio.

    He works closely with creative teams and radio talent to develop innovative radio or television digital output. This includes the BBC's Glastonbury coverage, Radio 4's online coverage and Radio 1 social media platforms. Ben has exec produced Eurovision and The Proms for BBC Television, developed the BBC's red button TV service in music and been the digital editor for BBC Radio 1.
