Dutch Music Export and BMIM have joined forces and we are delighted to be able to bring you together with a "dream team" of music supervisors from the US, Germany, UK, the Netherlands and Denmark at ESNS.

It’s all about facilitating, mobilising and professionalising the creative and music industries, and there's no better or more fun way to do that than by placing like-minded people directly in front of each other. You get the opportunity to schedule 2 x 10-minute sit-downs to present your music or talk business to some of the most active song reps in the business.

To participate, you (Dutch or a member Buma Stemra) must apply in advance by filling out the application form here and then by selecting three people you want to meet. We will contact you with details after January 10. Deadline application: January 7th. Register and find out more here

  • Duncan Smith

    Duncan Smith Sony, Playstation (GB)

    Duncan Smith is Senior Music Supervisor at Sony Interactive Entertainment Europe - working on games produced by PlayStation Worldwide Studios.

    He licenses commercial music and commissions bespoke composed music for games such as Gran Turismo, WipEout & Little Big Planet, as well as for worldwide advertising campaigns. He’s also responsible for artist relationships.

    He has an extensive music knowledge and strong relationships within the industry, having started out in music PR and artist management.

    Duncan also runs the sync industry networking event Sync Drinks, founded Synced In (the portal for finding and advertising positions in the UK sync world), and is Co-Chair of the UK & European Music Supervisors Guild.

  • Janesta Boudreau

    Janesta Boudreau Frontier Games (GB)

    Janesta Boudreau is Owner and Sync & Licensing Director at Rocking Horse Road Productions – a music licensing house and sync company based in Nova Scotia, Canada. RHR is a full service Sync and Licensing Agency - with a great OneStop roster and its recently launched COVERSION - a sync focused covers catalogue for high quality and sync-ready clearable cover songs. Under the RHR banner, Boudreau also does video game music supervision, starting with the iPhone/android app game Music Mogul, and moving to Frontier Developments games and trailers in 2014.

    With Frontier, Janesta has worked on games and soundtracks for Elite Dangerous, Planet Coaster, Planet Coaster DLC, and Jurassic World Evolution. She is a two-time nominee at the Music Week Sync Awards and Winner of the 2018 Canadian Sync Award for Music Supervision: Video Games.

  • Markus Linde

    Markus Linde Thags agent (DE)

    Markus Linde has been successfully running his thag’s agent imprint for some 15 years now, making him a veteran of independent German sync agencies. With a long professional history in the record business (marketing and A&R for CBS, BMG, Sony Music), publishing (Managing Director at Freibank Music Publishing) and artist management, he draws from experience and knowledge, as well as from a love of music.

    As thag’s agent, Markus has a track record for music placements in national and international advertising campaigns and has also contributed to films. His services include music rights research and clearances. For his musical input he refers to a wide range of selected sources, among them publishing and label catalogues from the majors to the smallest independents.

    Markus also is a regular speaker on international conferences and consulting contributor to workshops and seminars.

  • Johan Borg

    Johan Borg Ohlogy (GB)

    Johan is the CEO and Co-Founder of Ohlogy, a music agency based in Stockholm, Oslo, London, and Berlin. Ohlogy has worked on music strategies, music identities, music for fashion shows and music for films for brands like H&M, Stella McCartney, SAS, and Plan International since 2011.

  • Mark Gordon

    Mark Gordon Score Draw Score (GB)

    Mark Gordon runs Score Draw Music; a multi-award winning composition company working in film, television, advertising and animation. The last 12 months have seen the company win the Royal Television Society award for best music for their work with Dolly Parton on the pre-school Nickeodean Jr series ‘Lily’s Driftwood Bay’. The company also contributed a co-write to the 2018 Oscar-winning film ‘The Shape Of Water’, and more recently has had music used in shows including Netflix's 'The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina'. Alongside this the company’s current slate of work includes music and songs for an 80-part series for PBS America, the music for a 52-part series for Disney, a recent commission for a Playmobil animated series, feature documentary score work for BBC and Channel 4, and ongoing music for a range of global brands including a longstanding partnership with Adidas for whom the company supply bespoke music. Mark has also programmed and spoken on many music and image panels and discussions- including at SXSW, Primavera Pro, Paris Sync Summit and The Great Escape.

  • Jesper Gadeberg

    Jesper Gadeberg The Music Stylist (DK)

    Award winning music stylist Jesper Gadeberg is based in Copenhagen. He is regarded one of the leading independent creative music supervisors in advertising, placing music in
commercial’s for clients and brands around the world including brands like Heineken, Mercedes and Porsche. His work includes campaigns for directors such as Michel Gondry – TRAKTOR & Martin De Thurah. He was the creative musical mind behind one of the 3 most awarded International commercials in 2013/2014 for Jack & Jones ‘Making The Cut’, and for the Magnum ‘Proudly Seeking Pleasure’ campaign for which he received Gold at Epica 2015 for ‘best use of music’. At the Ciclope Advertising Festival 2017 held in Berlin Gadeberg won Bronze for best music supervisor in the ‘long format’ category. nnes Lions, Gadeberg is often invited as a speaker for music festivals around the world on how to get your music placed in advertising.

  • Milena Fessman

    Milena Fessman Cinesong (DE)

    Since 1991 Milena Fessmann has worked as a full-time DJ for various radio stations. Since 1997 she works for Radio Eins/RBB with her own weekly show called "Free Falling". In 1989 she founded CINESONG where she teaches music supervision and copyright clearing at film schools such as DFFB Berlin and is an advisory board member of the World Soundtrack Academy. She founded a film production company called Sugar Town Filmproduction Gmbh & Co. in 2011. The first project is "The Potential of Noise - Conny Plank" by Stephan Plank and Reto Caduff. She is co-producer of "When Hitler stole Pink Rabbit" directed by award winning Caroline Link. She is co-producer on "Evaluation" and "Girl made of Dust" directed by Hiam Abbass. She has worked as a Music Supervising on "Pina“ directed by: Wim Wenders "3 Days in Quiberon“, directed by Emily Atef Rohfilm 2018 and "In the Aisles“ directed by Thomas Stuber amongst others.

  • Aron van der Ploeg

    Aron van der Ploeg The Missing Sync (NL)

    Aron van der Ploeg is managing partner at music agency The Missing Sync. The Amsterdam-based agency is specialized in finding, producing and licensing music for advertising campaigns, film and television and loves to connect artists with brands.

    The Missing Sync's clients include many major international brands such as Volkswagen, Martini, IKEA, BMW, T-Mobile, Toyota, Samsung and Heineken alongside music supervision for movies such as Adios Amigos, Rokjesdag, Afblijven & Bram Fischer.

    Aron van der Ploeg started his musical career as a drummer and keyboard player in a number of different bands. Following his studies in Musicology at the University of Amsterdam and further studies in Light Music & Jazz, he started working for a Dutch music production company. In that role he produced music for commercials and TV. Van der Ploeg founded The Missing Sync together with booking agency Agents After All and publisher Pennies From Heaven in 2004.

  • Ilana Goldstoff

    Ilana Goldstoff Sizzer Amsterdam (NL)

    Ilana Goldstoff is Sync & Licensing Manager at Sizzer Amsterdam. Before joining the company in 2015 she was active in the music industry for 12 years as a booker, talent scout and manager. Ilana is responsible for the award-winning ‘When You Drive, Never Drink’ Heineken campaign, as well as syncs for Diesel, Chanel, Audi and many others.

    Sizzer Amsterdam is an international music agency with offices in Amsterdam and Berlin. One of the leading agencies in the world of music for images, their network of unusual suspects and ground-breaking artists helps them combine creativity and experience as they help brands find edgy and offbeat musical solutions.

  • Nis Bøgvad

    Nis Bøgvad Copenhagen Film Music (DK)

    With 27 years experience as a music professional, Nis Bøgvad has worked in all aspects of the music business. From Multi-Platinum selling Songwriter, Recording Artist (EMI ) and Producer, to Head of A&R (EMI Music), Creative Director (Music Sales Group) Executive Producer National TV to

    Music Supervisor. He has synched music to more than 150 commercials, TV series and Films. He’s been sharing knowledge at A&R Worldwide/Musexpo L.A., Midem Cannes, Sync Summit Paris, Spot Festival Denmark; Les Arcs European Film Festival, Sync summit Helsinki and countless others. he is also among the founding partners of Europe in Synch holding training Workshops around Europe.
