Day 3: Mental Health Help Desk
Anne Löhr Mental Health in Music
Mental Health Help Desk #2 Providing mental health care for people in the business throughout the crisis and in preparation for the future is one of the main focuses concerning the industries change. How to cope with the (post) stress of the crisis? How to motivate the teams? How to deal with anxiety and panic attacks concerning the “beginning” of normal business, concerts and touring? How can we create structures within the industry to help us not to cross our boundaries and burn out as we did before the pandemic? A lot of questions, which we will give individual answers to! We are happy to announce, that the ESNS for the second time will exclusively provide one-on-one sessions with one of Germany its most active psychologists in the field of mental health in music. Anne Löhr is co-founder of the MiM association and has been working as a freelance coach and therapist with musicians, bands, booking agencies and managements for over 7 years. She is a lecturer at Folkwang University, BIMM Hamburg and HMTM München and cooperates as a trainer, speaker and consultant with VUT, MEWEM, IHM, Landstreicher Booking, irrsinn, Karsten Jahnke, RBF and many more. The 1-hour coaching sessions are open to all questions related to mental health in music. From Personal struggles as a musician or leader of a company to questions on how to help teams on increasing mental health and prevent stress and burnout. The sessions are open to individuals as well as small teams or e.g. leadership duos. The mental help desk offers 11 sessions - first come first serve. The sessions will have to be booked in advance - please write an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org before Monday, January 17th, regarding " ESNS mental help desk". Once the session is confirmed, you will have the chance to communicate your questions and topics with Anne via mail beforehand.
