Anne de Jong NVPI
Anne de Jong is an executive in music and very experienced in copyright law and neighbouring rights. As managing director of NVPI, the Dutch trade body for record labels and movie distributors, he represents the recorded music industry on a national level. As chairman of the Dutch platform for creative media industries (PCMI) and co-chair of the Dutch copyright federation (Federatie Auteursrechtbelangen), De Jong works closely with other national organizations such as Sena (neighbouring rights), Buma/Stemra (copyright) and Dutch trade bodies for performers and publishers. Before joining NVPI as managing director, Anne de Jong served the NVPI Audio board for 22 years and the NVPI federation board for 9 years. He also participated in the supervisory board of Sena for 6 years and was board member of STOMP (trade body for independent labels). De Jong owned and managed Challenge Records, a well-known Dutch record label in the classical music and jazz genre, for over two decades. -
Bernard Kobes Buma/Stemra
Bernard is CEO of the Dutch Collective Management Organization Buma/Stemra since 2019. Bernard has a 30-year track record in business management from which 20 year in the media, entertainment and music industry, where he worked as managing director/CEO for several national and international, private and public companies, including Dutch Broadcast Production Company (NOB), DutchView, Technicolor, Ericsson Media Services and the Dutch Local Public Broadcaster. He is experienced in transforming and leading organizations into a competitive digitized world. He holds a master’s in business science and one in Marketing. Nice to know, Bernard is a passionate trombone player. -
Kevin Brennan MP Member of the UK Parliament
Kevin Brennan is a Welsh Labour Party politician who has been the Member of Parliament (MP) for Cardiff West since 2001. He is currently a member of the Digital, Culture, Media and Sport Select Committee. In the last Labour government he was a Minister in the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills, the Department for Children, Schools and Families and the Cabinet Office. In recent years Mr Brennan has served Labour’s opposition front bench as their Shadow Schools Minister, Shadow Business Minister and Shadow Culture Minister. -
Paulina Golba IMPF
Paulina Golba is music publisher with over 20 years’ experience in rights’ management in Eastern Europe. Besides running her own company based in Poland, Paulina contributes to various initiatives defining and improving data standards in the music industry. She sits on the IMPF Board of Directors and on the Board of Publishers at ZAiKS. She is an author of rights and royalties management software. -
Anna Lidell Autor - danish composers and songwriters
Anna Lidell is a composer and producer 15+ years. She is also the Chair for the organisation of songwriters composers in Denmark, DJBFA, Vice-Chair for KODA and boardmember of CIAM. Her job is to give songwriters a strong public voice so that both listeners and politicians understand the conditions for creating and how it can be supported.
