Paul Schurink is an expert in the field of temporary energy supply, sustainability and innovation. He holds an MBE in energy systems and has been involved with a variety of large-scale events including the Olympic Games, UEFA EURO 2012 and Volvo Ocean Race. Within Green Events Nederland, Paul takes a role as project leader and is project leader of Green Deal Waste Free Festivals since 2015. Green Events is an organization which helps event organizers to make their operations more sustainable and is the initiator of Plastic Promise. Paul is owner of ZAP Concepts, is an accredited professional of the Sustainable Event Alliance and co-founder of Green Events Nederland.

Events are pioneering responsible plastic use, and in this spirit Plastic Promise, an initiative started by the event industry was launched at ADE Green 2018. In this session key players from the industry talk about how to use plastic in a more responsible way by reducing, recycling, reusing and agreeing on a circular plan within the whole chain.

Lizzy van de Venn works as a Brand Manager for the Heineken® brand. She is passionate about innovation and over the past years she has contributed to several design and product launches including the redesign, relaunching of Affligem, Brand IPA & Heineken 0.0. Based on intrinsic motivation, Lizzy started crafting and implementing the Heineken® brand sustainability strategy last year. Devoted to this topic, she now focuses on how to get the brand fully circular. As festivals are an important pillar of this strategy, she is delighted to carry out the goals of the brand.

Niels de Geus is co-founder of Club AIR and various festival including Amsterdam Open Air, Milkshake and Valhalla. Has been working in the dance music industry for over 20 years and tries to stay at the forefront of innovation and sustainability.
Noor Boukema Coca Cola European Partners (NL)
Coca-Cola European Partners has been actively working on sustainable solutions since 1950 in the Netherlands. As part of these efforts, we have committed to a plastic promise to ensure a 100% circular drinking experience at Dutch festivals by 2025. In order to attain this ambition we have accelerated our efforts on reducing, reusing and recycling by the personal drive and passion of Noor - who has been responsible for all marketing activities at Dutch festivals since 2017. Noor hopes these projects and results will inspire other producers and organizations to choose sustainability in spite of its challenges– as does CCEP.
Amber Roner Story Art Studio (NL)
Amber Roner believes that everybody has a story worth sharing. As a freelance presenter, interviewer and creative multi-media producer at Story Art Studio, she creates space for people to tell their own inspiring stories: on screen, on air and on stage. In the past Amber was host of a weekly Art & Culture show on AmsterdamFM and as a festival reporter for KX Radio. She has been an energetic host and moderator on podia at TEDxDelft, the Amsterdam Uitmarkt and the Amsterdam Pop Prize. In her role as Video specialist at NN Group, the title sponsor of the North Sea Jazz Festival in Rotterdam, she created all video content for the social channels of the NN North Sea Jazz Festival 2018 and the North Sea Late Night talkshow. Eurosonic Noorderslag 2019 will be the third time, Amber is invited to be moderating panels at EPIC.
