  • Greg Parmley

    Greg Parmley ILMC, IQ, IFF (GB)

    The head of the International Live Music Conference (ILMC), Greg has spent two decades involved in the international live music industry. ILMC publishes IQ, the leading source of news and content for the business, as well as various annual publications. In 2015, Greg launched the International Festival Forum, an annual showcase event for booking agents and music festivals. In 2017, he launched the Event Safety & Security Summit.

    Greg is a published author and book editor, and a founding member and current chair of the UK Live Music Group. Due to one too many pub conversations, he also holds the Guinness World Record for Most Music Festivals Visited in 30 Days.

  • Holger Jan Schmidt

    Holger Jan Schmidt GO Group (DE)

    Holger Jan Schmidt is ambassador and project manager of the Take A Stand initiative and campaign for the (live) music sector, which was launched in 2017 to create an international movement encouraging social cohesion in our society as well as promoting awareness and tolerance. He is one of Europe's leading networkers in the music festival branch with a focus on sustainability and social responsibility. He leads the pan-European think-tank GO Group (Green Operations Europe) and works as anchorman for green issues of Yourope (the European Festival Association). He is board member of the German Sounds for Nature Foundation e.V., that focuses on sustainability related and environmental issues at events.

    Holger was also part of Germany's biggest admission-free festival RhEINKULTUR in Bonn is booker and consultant for Das Fest in Karlsruhe, with a capacity of 80.000 visitors per day, and is also an active musician himself.

    Aafke Romeijn BAM! (NL)

    Aafke Romeijn is a Musician and Writer. She Released Her Fourth Studio Album as an Artist/electro Producer in 2019 and Writes for News Outlets Such as Vrij Nederland. She's a Member of Bam! Popauteurs(Dutch Songwriter Society), the Members Council of Buma/stemra, and Part of the Gender Working Group of Ecsa.

    Katja Ehrenberg Fresenius University

    Katja is full professor at Fresenius University of Applied Sciences Cologne, Germany, where she enjoys teaching psychology and business psychology courses for B.Sc. and M.Sc. students. Her research interests include stress, self-care and work-life-balance as well as topics of applied social psychology such as communication and conflict in teams, diversity management, and measures fostering self-efficacy, creativity and flow experience. As fully trained systemic counsellor (SG-certified), she also offers workshops and coaching on these and similar issues for teams and organizations as well as for private clients. 

    Katja has provided scientific publications and talks on her research for over 20 years now, and recently co-authored two books on psychic stress at the workplace. Loving alternative arts, music and culture, she has made contributions on the topic to YOUROPE GO Group conferences in 2016 and 2019, Nouvelle Prague 2019 and the latest EFC in Barcelona. She volunteers at a small concert venue in Bonn, where she lives with her two teenage daughters.

    Helen Smith Impala (UK)

    Helen Smith is IMPALA's Executive Chair. She drives the organisation's strategies on political, commercial and promotional levels. Helping independent companies/artists, IMPALA's milestones include Europe's first class action court case on a merger and its tough stance on digital platforms who don't play ball, and various action plans and awards schemes.

    Annabella Coldrick MMF (UK)

    Annabella joined the UK’s Music Managers Forum as Chief Executive in 2016. MMF publishes the influential Dissecting the Digital Dollar research project on the economics of streaming while calling for greater transparency in the music industry. They are a founder and supporter of FanFair Alliance, which advocates against ticket touting.favourite artists.

    Neil Warnock UTA (UK)

    Warnock is the Global Head of Touring at leading global talent and entertainment company UTA. Based in UTA’s London office, Warnock oversees a robust roster of UK agents and artists, advising on both regional and international touring business strategy. 

     

    Warnock is one of the most experienced music agents in the world and a key architect of the modern live music business. He has directly helped to open up new touring markets in areas such as India and China for international artists, and he has been an influential player in expanding the global footprint of the live music business. He currently represents some of the largest worldwide touring acts including Dolly Parton, Deep Purple, and David Gilmour. His extensive and varied career has also seen him work with legendary artists including Pink Floyd, The Rolling Stones, Johnny Cash, Simon & Garfunkel and Michael Jackson.  Among his many unparalleled achievements are Michael Jackson’s tour stop in India, The Rolling Stones’ tours in South East Asia and Europe, and Pink Floyd’s two world tours, numerous events, including having the band play Russia before the Iron Curtain came down and negotiating for them to play on the Grand Canal opposite St Mark’s Square in Venice.

      

    Outside of UTA, Warnock is actively involved with the Nordoff Robbins music charity where he sits on the Board as trustee and is Chairman of Fundraising, as well as the Country Music Association Advisory Group where he is a participating member. During his career, he has received multiple industry awards, recognising his significant contributions to the live music business.  In January 2019, Warnock was appointed a Member of the Order of the British Empire in the New Year Honours List, for services to Music and Charity.

    Lieke Timmermans TivoliVredenburg (NL)

    Lieke Timmermans is head of marketing at TivoliVredenburg in Utrecht, concert hall in for all kinds of music -  from pop, jazz and club nights to symphonic music, chamber music. She’s working in the music industry for over twenty years.

    Helienne Lindvall British Academy of Composers, Songwriters and Authors (GB)

    Helienne Lindvall is an award-winning songwriter, musician and columnist. She's Chair of the Songwriter Committee & Board Director, British Academy of Songwriters, Composers & Authors, and Chairs the Ivor Novello Awards. She's also the writer behind the Guardian music industry columns Behind the Music and Plugged In, and Director of Business Development and Artist Relations, UK, for music creator platform LANDR.
