STOMP Presenteert – Never Waste A Good Crisis

Floris Janssen is General Manager for Dutch label 8ball Music. 8ball Music focuses on building artist careers as a label, management and live event company. The label is the most successful indie in the Netherlands with releases of Maan, Davina Michelle, Miss Montreal, André Hazes, Rolf Sanchez, DI-RECT, Dotan and many more. 8ball Events has created live concepts such as Muziekfeest van het Jaar and Beste Zangers Live. The management division represents a.o. Snelle, Maan and Miss Montreal Floris is also member of the board for Dutch Trade Association STOMP.

Leo van Schaick is employed by [PIAS] since the early nineties. [PIAS] is the worlds largest provider of artist and label services. Leo is responsable for continental Europe outside of France. Besides being a record (rights) company, [PIAS] is also a service company providing worldwide physical- and digital distribution including related services. Leo is an NVPI (local IFPI0) boardmember and one of the founders of local indie platform Stomp.

Luciano Arseno Winter (28) has proven that nothing is impossible. He is a perfect example of a go-getter. The ambitious Luciano isn’t in possession of a degree, but that’s not stopping him from achieving his dreams. He has developed himself into a successful entrepreneur. An example for many. How did he pull it off? Hard work, thinking SMART and never giving up! His love for music has always been noticeable. As a little boy, Luciano loved to listen and make music. For example, he played the piano, he was in a school band, he DJed and rapped. As a creative person, he also sprayed graffiti. And that's just the tip of the iceberg. Luciano has studied almost all the basic principles of the creative sector. It didn't stop there. When he got the chance to develop himself further, he didn’t hesitate. Luciano grabbed that opportunity with both hands. The passionate Luciano started the Law Music Art & Coaching foundation in early 2009. He focused himself on supporting young creative talent. Not long after that, he joined forces with his brother Jairzinho, who had been acting and making music for some time.

Dick de Groot is CEO of Be Yourself Music, which he founded in 2005. Previously t he was head of A&R at ID&T.

He’s also a board member of Dutch indie platform Stomp.

 

Kees van Weijen has been working in the Entertainment Industry in the Netherlands, Belgium and Great Britain since 1974. He acquired experience in the music entertainment industry. Kees has built up a substantial international network. Enjoys working with people where the artists are number 1. During the span of his career Kees has worked for Universal Music as Ex VP, MD of Mercury, MCA and Polydor, Rough Trade Distribution, with artists such as INXS, Kiss, Elton John, Dire Straits, LIVE, Bon Jovi, Def Leppard, Metallica, No Doubt, U2, Lionel Ritchie, Caro Emerald, Tiesto, Jimmy Lidel, Armin van Buuren, The Editors and many others. He is currently running HIT4US as MD. Dutch IFPI awarded him with the “Zilveren Fonograaf “ for outstanding contribution in the music industry. He is President of STOMP, Stichting Onafhankelijke Muziek Producenten in The Netherlands. Former Chairman of IMPALA and President of IMPALA.
