Juliane Ott, a German national, holds a master degree in history from the University of Montpellier (France). She has dedicated her entire professional career to the European project. After working 16 years in the European Parliament and four years for a European trade association in Brussels, she became in 2010 policy officer at the EU representation of the German region Rhineland-Palatinate where she was in charge of research, education and culture. In 2018, she moved on, as a national expert, to the Directorate-General for Education, Youth, Sport and Culture in the European Commission where she joined the unit responsible for Creative Europe - the EU framework programme for support to the culture and audio-visual sectors. Here, she became part of the team for “Music Moves Europe” as she manages among other projects the Music Moves Europe Awards.
