Mahi Khalesi

ROQ 'N Rolla Music

Mahi Khalesi, 28 years old, born in Tehran, Iran. Raised in Westervoort, a small village near Arnhem. As a little girl, Mahi dreamed of becoming a TV presenter. After the secondary school certificate, Mahi studied 'Events & Marketing' at Rijnijssel College Arnhem. Through her education she tried to make her dreams come true through her internships. For example, Mahi did an internship at Omroep Gelderland as a 'Production Assistant' for a live program and later she also did an internship with Vincent Vianen, who participated in 'So You Think You Can Dance' as a Hip-hop choreographer during that period. Mahi was introduced to the media & entertainment industry at an early age. Shortly afterwards she moved to Amsterdam where she started at the 'Amsterdam Fashion Institute' to express all her creativity. Mahi is a jack of all trades, from hair/makeup, to styling, dancing and music, she can do it all. During her studies she worked as a stylist for several big results and soon ended up in the music industry. She started her career as an A&R Manager at major labels as Artsounds, Sony Music and now ROQ N ROLLA Music, where she has worked on major projects and signed multiple artists. Despite her path, she has never let go of her childhood dream, she has had various presentation jobs and has been a reporter at NPO Funx radio. She also now presents Spotify's 'De Woordenschat Podcast' together with Jayh Jawson and is co-owner of the talk show WOMXNHOOD STORIES. Mahi has always walked her own path, despite not always receiving the support from her environment. Her vision is to always chase your dreams and follow your heart. Her mission is to inspire others with her own story
