Áine May is a Sustainability Lead at Native Events, working across music, arts, events, and festivals, to drive meaningful change for long-term transformation within the creative and cultural sectors. With a background in event production and the delivery of bespoke sustainability projects for arts organisations, she brings a practical, industry-informed approach to her work. Áine May has worked on the production of two Irish festival signatories of the Green Deal Circular Festivals, undertaken research with Local Authorities on eliminating single-use plastics at events, and provided sustainability consultancy across waste, strategy, materials and carbon emissions to a host of organisations in Ireland and the UK.
