Since 2022 Annemieke is working for Fonds Podiumkunsten. overseeing all activities of the Fonds that relate to an international arts practice: the grant schemes for tour support and international coproductions, and for developing a strategy for internationalization; matchmaking projects to develop new partnerships and networking activities to support international networks and enhance the visibility of Dutch art and artists, and the visitor’s programme for presenters from abroad.

After a study in arts management and arts policy at Amsterdam University (UVA) she has been working in various roles for international festivals and arts organisations. Before starting in her position at Fonds Podiumkunsten, she used to work as a programming director dance and theatre at Holland Festival in Amsterdam.
