Dennis Platvoet is director at BRUT (part of De Nieuwe Oost), a development organization for (pop) music. Through BRUT, Dennis is a co-initiator and one of the driving forces behind the Music Hub East (Muziekhub Oost), a collaboration that focusses on nourishing the ecosystem of talent development in the eastern part of the Netherlands. He also serves as a board member of several organizations, including creative hubs Stroom and Grenfrequentie, has worked as an advisor and committee member for the City of Utrecht’s Cultural Policy Plan, and still occasionally takes the stage as a DJ.
