CEO // founder, Lapee ApS
Gina Periér is the CEO and founder of Lapee: the revolutionary urinal for women and gender non-conforming people who squat to pee.

While working as an architect at Roskilde Festival, she spotted and experienced a huge and overlooked problem: women’s long toilet queues or the unsafe plan B (the bushes).

She designed a solution that was launched in 2019, and since then Lapee has disrupted the industry, spreading awareness on the issue and normalising that women also pee.

The Lapees have attended hundreds of events every year across the globe, such as The Olympics in Paris, Primavera Sound, Roskilde Festival and Beyond the Valley in Australia. Millions of users love Lapee, and the company has become the front runner in terms of sanitation access for women and those who squat to pee.

Gina’s strong intersectional values are directly reflected in Lapee: while solving a real issue with a practical solution, fighting for gender equality and inclusion in a sustainable way is the core of the mission. Gina’s journey of creating a new standard in the industry has led her to take part in a number of panels and international media, making her an important voice in the event industry.
