Jaimie van Hek is a bassist, multi-instrumentalist and music educator. Within the AI project Get Back, she works as a musical sparring partner and as a link between designers and musical practice. Her experience as a session musician, combined with strong communication and teaching skills, enables her to translate musical interaction with AI systems into concrete applications on stage and in the studio.

As a bassist, she currently performs with artists such as Sue The Night and Berget Lewis, and has previously worked with Loupe, Voicst, Jasper Erkens and Cirque Valentin.

Alongside her work as a performing musician, Jaimie is active as a teacher and band coach. She is affiliated with institutions including the Conservatorium of Amsterdam and the Dutch School of Popular Music, and has previously worked with ROC Pact Amsterdam, Popsport and various music schools. She is also co-developer of the Hubtower, an innovative music education concept used nationwide.
