Joeri Gordijn began his musical journey at a young age, playing in countless bands across his hometown of The Hague. He studied journalism in Utrecht, but always remained based in The Hague, deeply rooted in the city’s music scene. That he would eventually end up working at PAARD seemed inevitable.
In 2024, after holding various marketing positions, he was appointed Head of Programming and Marketing at PAARD. In this role, he led the merger of the marketing and programming teams and introduced initiatives such as PUSH, Haags Popgala, and PAARD360.
His ambition is for PAARD to be recognized not only as music venue with an impressive (inter)national lineup, but also as a place for shows and projects that can uniquely exist - and originate from - PAARD/The Hague; shaped by the venue’s location, the local scene, the city, the building, and its audience.
