Mano Scherpbier is Director-Executive of Popronde Netherlands, the nationwide touring platform that presents emerging Dutch artists in cities across the country. Popronde is widely regarded as a key stepping stone in the Dutch music ecosystem, connecting new talent with audiences, venues, and industry professionals.

Before joining Popronde, Scherpbier held leading roles in the Dutch live music sector. He was director of the Burgerweeshuis pop venue in Deventer and previously worked as manager of Hedon Talent Support in Zwolle, where he focused on artist development and talent programming. Across these roles, he built extensive experience in cultural leadership, talent nurturing, and strengthening local and national music networks.

As director of Popronde, Scherpbier is committed to further embedding the platform within the Dutch and international music landscape, supporting the next generation of artists and fostering sustainable career development.
