Marcel Albers has built a dynamic career across the music, media, and live entertainment industries. While working in international artist management, he also served as executive producer of the Academy Award-winning TV show Jiskefet. He founded the independent record label Double T Music - later acquired by Sony Music Entertainment UK - and co-founded media production company Double 2 Media.

He went on to acquire Brigadoon Music & Theatre Company and established the record labels Flow Recordsand MARS Worldwide. Albers later joined Synco Network Europe and, in 2010, was appointed to the board of directors of Ampco Flashlight Group Holding, now part of Clair Global, one of the world’s leading live touring production companies.

He has served as chairman of MMF.NL, the Live Entertainment Awards, and The Popcoalition. In 2018, he was appointed General Director and Chairman of the Board at Dutch Music Export.
