Catalan-born, Berlin-based Neus López (Barcelona, *1973) has over 20 years experience in the field of music export. Between 2002 and 2015, she was the Head of the Berlin office of Catalan!Arts, leading the export activities for the creative industries from Catalonia in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, as well as the Nordic countries and Eastern Europe. Neus joined Initiative Musik in 2018 as Head of Export. In her current role, Neus has developed and implemented three funding programmes specific for export, as well as several export cooperations with main key events and showcase festivals, supporting German-based artists, music professionals and companies to expand their visibility abroad and create new opportunities for them in the international music market. As a representative of Initiative Musik and Germany, Neus participates in european projects like ESNS Exchange. She is also involved in the network European Music Exporters Exchange (EMEE), where she is member of the board.
