Paloma López Peláez obtained a Law Degree at Universidad Autónoma in Madrid. She achieved a postgraduate diploma in UK, EU and US Copyright Law(King’s College-London University) in 2004. With a previous background on private law in different Spanish law offices, she has been working for the collective management society of intellectual property rights, Artistas Intérpretes o Ejecutantes (AIE), since 2001, as a lawyer for international affairs undertaking the technical research, contribution to European and International initiatives and negotiation of bilateral agreements. Since 2011 she is heading International Area of AIE’s Legal Department. She combines her professional activity in AIE with teaching in Master courses on Intellectual Property at different national Universities.
