Peter is 65 years old and lives in the town of Nederweert, in the south of the Netherlands. After 44 years working in local government, he recently retired.

Since 1977, he has been the chairman of youth centre De Bosuil, where he started organizing live music events in 1981 — the beginning of what is now the Bospop Festival.

In addition to his work with Bospop, he also serves as the booker for live music venue De Bosuil in Weert.

Even after all these years, his passion for live music is stronger than ever — he still loves booking bands for both the venue and the festival.
