Quirina Geijsen is Head of Program at De Vorstin, a music venue in Hilversum, the Netherlands, where she programs and books the music program. The venue hosts over 200 shows a year in its 850-capacity main hall and 275-capacity small hall. At De Vorstin, she also developed the 035 Popprijs to spotlight emerging regional talent. As a freelancer, she teaches and speaks with a focus on talent development, the social impact of live music experiences, and the live music ecosystem. Fun fact: during her master’s in Social and Cultural Anthropology, she researched hip-hop moshpits.
