Legendary Dutch entrepreneur Ronnie Degen began his career in sales and marketing for Heineken and its then soft drinks company Vrumona. In 2001 he took the plunge to manage rock band Jovink & the Voederbietels. He began working with the Zwarte Cross festival, then in its infancy, in addition to the management tasks for the band. When Jovink stopped touring in 2007, he and his companions became 100% committed to the events business which led to growth of Zwarte Cross and its parent company Feestfabriek. He also opened an online hotel in the east of the Netherlands in 2015 and since 2018 he runs also Helderop; a management & booking agency with studio’s. He joined Superstruct when it acquired Feestfabriek in 2021.
