By fate, Tirsa came into the world a few villages next to Landgraaf and was born and raised in Limburg. This makes her geographically connected to Pinkpop at a young age, and thanks to her parents, walking past Pinkpop on Whit Monday becomes a tradition. The glimpse she catches there of world-class acts and partying visitors fires up a flame: 9-year-old Tirsa is already sure by then that she wants to work at Pinkpop.

During her studies she starts working at Buro Pinkpop. In order to gain as much experience as possible within the music world, she becomes a freelance producer within various disciplines for many major Dutch festivals and concerts. But after all, her pink heart continues to beat the loudest.

So Tirsa decides, after years of experience within the events industry, to commit herself permanently to her pink roots. And it pays off: she becomes festival manager of Pinkpop. Nearly a decade later, she is the business manager of the festival and team where she once started as an intern. Together with a great team, she works daily towards only one goal; creating the most beautiful experiences for 70,000 visitors. She's a real go-getter, nothing is let go until results are achieved and about 70,000 visitors may benefit from that every year.
