Nynke Stellingsma is the Managing Director of SPOT Groningen, the theater and concert organization in Groningen behind De Oosterpoort & the Stadsschouwburg Groningen, hosting over 700 concerts, performances, and numerous festivals. In her role as director, she seeks to establish connections between culture and society and is a (co)developer of several programs that build bridges between the world of theater and music and the surrounding community. She is also the founder of CrossWise, a collaborative work and learning program involving Hanzehogeschool Groningen, NHL Stenden, AlfaCollege, Noorderpoort College, SPOT Groningen, and the Municipality of Groningen.
