Melina was born into a family where the oral transmission of traditional music plays a central role. She carries her Greek heritage with a voice rich in melismatic ornamentation and emotional depth. At the crossroads between traditional and contemporary music, she infuses her work with an instinctive modernity and a sensitivity unique to her age. Singer, oud player, dancer and composer, Melina is a multifaceted artist. After the release of her first EP, she will play at ESNS with three virtuosos on keys and drums. Melina has been nominated for the Music Moves Europe (MME) Awards, the EU prize for emerging European artists. Winners will be revealed at the award ceremony on 15 January, 2026 at ESNS.
