Alejandra Pazo, PhD, is an ex-neuroscientist that decided to apply her academic research experience in the Music Industry.
She jumped in this adventure after establishing great friendships with independent artists all around the world and becoming aware of the challenges they had to face, willing to contribute to make the music industry a sustainable ecosystem for everybody.
She studied Music Business at Berklee's College of Music, and started working as a freelance in diverse Music-Tech & Innovation projects. During this period she worked as operations coordinator for a live-streaming company, as communicator and analyst for a music-applied ai company and as innovation consultant for a start-up hub.
Currently, she is Tech Lead at Unison Rights, a royalty collection society built for the challenges of the modern music landscape. Her job is to understand those challenges and plan new developments so the platform is ready to cope with the changing times.
