Anna Tarnowska is the head of the Bydgoszcz UNESCO City of Music Office and a leading figure in implementing projects related to the city's activities in the UNESCO Creative Cities Network. With years of experience in the music and culture industry, she previously held the position of Head of The Promotion Section at the Municipality Culture Center in Bydgoszcz. In this role, she managed the institution's image campaigns, led and implemented promotional campaigns for many festivals, including music festivals such as ETHNIESY and Drums Fusion. Additionally, she co-organized cultural and musical events, including international festivals. Before that, she worked for Poland's most significant newspaper, Gazeta Wyborcza, where she covered political affairs, local government, education and culture. She graduated in philosophy and Iberian studies.
