Freshly appointed by an independent committee, Anne-Maartje Lemereis will come to ESNS Conference as the Composer Laureate of the Netherlands (an initiative of Buma Cultuur). In 2024 and 2025, she will focus mainly on music education. Anne-Maartje: 'I want to use this broadly and make music accessible to as many people as possible. Within education, I want to focus on the creative process. Not reproducing other people's work, as happens in so many courses, but working on your own compositions.'
