Astrid works as a researcher at the research group Creative Media for Social Change at the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences. She develops creative approaches to address social and societal challenges. In the project Samen Duurzaam op Weg she explored with event visitors, MOJO, the Johan Cruijff Arena, Ziggo Dome and AFAS live how people can be stimulated to travel sustainably to events in Amsterdam Zuidoost. A shared feeling of ownership between the stakeholders was necessary to jointly create interventions for visitors that extends their experience of a great night out while travelling.
