Since joining in 2016, he has helped drive forward the title's new era across print, online and its two flagship events, the Music Week Awards and the Women In Music Awards. During that time, he has helped change the way Music Week covers the industry and interviewed and profiled a broad range of executives and artists across all sectors of the business. He began his music writing career at The Fly, where he became deputy editor, before moving to NME as reviews editor. As a freelance writer, Ben has written for the likes of The Guardian, Red Bull Music, BBC Music and BEAT.
