Jack Pisters is a leading figure in the Dutch music industry. As head and owner of the Dutch School of Popular Music and artistic director of Amsterdam Guitar Heaven, he has had a lasting impact on talent development and music education. He was the founder and for 21 years the head of the pop department and AEMA (electronic music) at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam. As a guitarist, he has collaborated with artists such as Avalon, Soylent Green, Keith Caputo, and Anouk, and is currently teaching at the Royal Conservatoire in The Hague. In 2024, he received the IJzeren Podiumdier Lifetime Achievement Award for his contribution to high-quality pop education. Jack is also the chair of the Sena Performers European Guitar Award and is currently the interim manager of Popronde.
