Javier Juárez Montojo is an Industrial Engineer and holds a Master’s degree in Electric Power Systems from Comillas Pontifical University (ICAI). Since 2018, he has worked at Repsol, holding various positions focused on technology and innovation. He currently leads the Energy Systems area at the Repsol Technology Lab. Javier and his team work on a wide range of projects, all aimed at fostering renewable energy integration, electrical and thermal storage, and energy management. They maintain a clear focus on the decarbonization of various sectors, including music festivals. A notable achievement is the development of the 100% sustainable stage at Bilbao BBK Live 2025, which integrated photovoltaic solar energy, micro-wind power, batteries, and generators powered by 100% renewable fuels.
