Nicky is a drummer/producer, having recorded and toured with a wide range of artists including Sef, Maan, Weval, Eefje de Visser, Kovacs, Wende, Fink and Katie Melua, playing shows internationally. He records drums and produces from his own studio. Some recent albums he played on include Bente's Drift, Eefje de Visser's Vlijmscherp, and Remy van Kesteren's Leave what you know. Having a knack for working and experimenting with Ableton Live, he is also frequently involved with live production and MD’ing. Joining Sef on his latest album "Lieve Monsters" as well as on the Alpha stage at Lowlands was one of 2025’s many highlights.

Alongside this, he produces for other artists, most recently Meis’ debut album Zwart/Wit, and composes for different media. A new EP release from his solo project Slow Res will follow in March 2026.
