I started as a vertical farm specialist. Later working on research by European Space Agency called MELiSSA (Micro Ecological Life Support System Alternative) growing food under a completely controlled environment for astronauts going on a Mars missions, I discovered great technology that would be very useful on Earth. In 2017 I started SEMiLLA Sanitation to design technology to reuse and recover water and fertilizers out of human wastewater. After many test rounds and demonstration sites we can provide grey (shower water), yellow (urine) and black water (sewage water) technology for events, buildings and humanitarian aid. Grateful to work together with festival like ESNS, Madnes, ITGWO, DGTL and Zwarte Cross. To make a greater impact, we work with partner Nijhuis Saur Industries to make sure we can reach many people to start a dialogue about water. Water has become scarce so we need to act! We are on a #missionwater.
