Scott Booker

Scott Booker is the founder and owner of Hellfire Enterprises Ltd. He is the founder, CEO and Director of the Academy of Contemporary Music at the University of Central Oklahoma, and host and interviewer of the ACM Masterclass Series. Scott has had the honor to serve as a commissioner for the Oklahoma Arts Commission for several years. He has served on the board of Governors for the Texas Branch of NARAS/Grammys. Scott served as “cultural coordinator” of Music in the Metro, ACM Rocks Bricktown and the OKC Rock for Oklahoma tornado relief benefit. He also frequently consults businesses and government agencies on the entertainment industries. Scott Booker began his music industry career at 15, working as a clerk in a Sound Warehouse record store. He managed the Oklahoma City indie Rainbow Records stores for ten years, while promoting local and national musical artists. After helping the Flaming Lips sign a record deal with Warner Bros. Records in 1990, Scott created Hellfire Enterprises Ltd. Scott has managed the three-time Grammy Award winning, Flaming Lips for over 30 years and continues working with national and international artists.
