Sophie Williams is a freelance music writer and broadcaster, born and raised in Cardiff. Former New Music Editor at NME, she is now on staff at Billboard UK and the BRIT Awards, and writes for The Guardian, The Observer, and Welsh language zine Klust, among other outlets. She is also a Mercury Prize judge and a regular guest across the BBC Radio network.
