First acts confirmed for Noorderslag: Antoon, Bente, Samuel Welten and more will take the stage in January

In the run-up to its 40th anniversary, ESNS has announced the first sixteen Dutch artists for Noorderslag. In addition to Antoon, Bente, and Samuel Welten, Gotu Jim, Janna, Noor, and other Dutch talent will also perform at De Oosterpoort on Saturday, January 17, 2026. Tickets for Eurosonic and Noorderslag will go on sale on Thursday, September 25.

On Saturday January 17, ESNS will bring together Dutch emerging talent and established names on the stages of De Oosterpoort in Groningen. ESNS has confirmed the following sixteen acts for Noorderslag:

Antoon, Bente, Samuel Welten, Janna, Gotu Jim, Grote Geelstaart, De Zweefclub, Def, GP UIT G, IDA, Jesse Hoefnagels, Joël Domingos, MICHA, De Nachtwacht, Noor en tjels.

ESNS previously announced fourty emerging European artists for Eurosonic, including Hiqpy (nl, NPO 3FM), Lenny Monsou (nl, NPO 3FM), Katarsis (lt, LRT Opus), Kaat Van Stralen (be, VRT Studio Brussel), MOIO (ie, RTE 2FM ), Carpetman (ua) and more.

More artists will be added to the line-up in the coming weeks.

40 years of Noorderslag

The Saturday of ESNS is traditionally dedicated to Noorderslag. This renowned closing day at De Oosterpoort has long been the benchmark for Dutch pop music and features the presentation of the prestigious Popprijs. With this anniversary edition, ESNS not only celebrates its rich history, but also highlights the strength and diversity of the Dutch music scene.
