Joshua Idehen

Joshua Idehen is a powerhouse of spoken word, poetry, and music, a vital voice at the intersection of jazz, electronic, and beyond. A restless creative, the Swede formed the spiritual jazz collective Calabashed alongside Alabaster DePlume, joined forces with L.A. electronic visionary Daedelus, and dropped a shimmering collaboration with Metronomy. In 2024, he and producer and multi-instrumentalist Ludvig Parment created an EP, blending spoken word with pulsing club rhythms. After major radio airplay, and sold-out tours across the UK, Sweden, and Germany, their debut album is anticipated for early 2026.
