Kyoto

The peculiarity of the Kyoto project (by Roberta Russo), lies in the fusion of beatbox technique with dark, cinematic electronics. The Italian artist intones and declaims words in a frenetic, irreverent, desecrating manner, over repetitive, pounding musical patterns that combine modern electronics with elements typical of the Apulian tradition. March of this year saw the release of her first EP Limes Limen, conceived with producer Truemantic, who also accompanies Roberta on tour on synths.
