A Toys Orchestra are among the trailblazers of credible Italian indie-rock. Their sound covers a broad musical horizon with its roots on the coast of Southern Italy, taking in Europe and the US, elements of their punk rock background, some American indie/alternative rock of the 90s, the eclectic unexpectedness of Bowie and Kurt Weill, with nods to The Beatles and Pink Floyd. Formed in 1998, they released their 1st album “Job” (Fridge Recs) in 2001, which made a mark in the Italian scene. True national awareness then came with the award-winning clip “Peter Pan Syndrome”, taken from their second album “Cuckoo Boohoo” (2004, Urtovox). “Technicolor Dreams” (2007, Urtovox), was voted Best Italian Album 2007 by MEI.
